Good afternoon Stingray families,

The Club At Sonterra would like to thank all Sonterra Stingrays Swim Team families that have made all of our swim seasons so wonderful but especially those families in 2021 for being so flexible with restrictions and new processes that we had to endure for the swim season. We are currently in process of finalizing the swim calendar for 2022 and look forward to getting back to in-person competitive meets this year.

As a Club, since Hagen and I arrived, we have been working hard to become much more member centric eliminating as many non-member activities as possible which of course keeps our focus on the membership and member life which is where it should be. In keeping with that commitment, beginning with the 2022 swim team season, only members of the Club will be accepted to participate on the Sonterra Stingrays Swim Team. We certainly don’t wish to exclude anyone, but this is the right thing to do for the membership.

For anyone not currently a member interested in membership please contact Debbie Gonzaba at 210-483-4292 and mention you are a swim team family. We will be offering non-member swim team families a onetime opportunity to join our Social membership which allow access to everything except Golf, Tennis & Pickleball. This onetime offer will run from May 1st through Labor Day for dues only and after Labor Day if you wish to stay the dues paid will go towards your initiation fee. We feel this is the best decision for our Club and a good compromise for those still wishing to participate in swim team.
